How my journey began

Alexis Scott began her vocal study at the age of 13 through private voice lessons, and her interest only grew from there. In high school she took part in every music ensemble that they offered including marching band, concert band, jazz band, choir, and theater. To further her education, she attends West Liberty University and is working on earning her BA in Music Education, Pre K-Adult, Choral Emphasis and her BA in Music Performance, with a voice concentration. While there she has performed in Urinetown the Musical, Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel (Gretel), and had the honor of placing 1st in the Lower Musical Theater category during the NATS 2021 Tristate competition. Upon graduation Alexis hopes to teach in public schools while working on her Masters, but ultimately hopes to one day open her own voice studio to teach those who want to learn or better their singing abilities.
